My view

One of the most wonderful things about the way this house is situated is that when I walk out onto my deck, I have the most breathtaking views of the sunrise coming up over an adjacent ridge. And, the trees are situated as to make a perfectly framed photo. I never tire of the view, and feel blessed to gaze upon it, especially on mornings when the entire sky is on fire. Yesterday, it was already 83 degrees with 85% humidity when I shot this image of the hazy, hot day to come.

You do have a fantastic vantage point to view a gorgeous sunrise! Loved all the various butterflies in your garden - especially the white again that purple - very interesting shot!

Gorgeous! We don't have such a good view at our house, of course, which is why we enjoy all the birds in our back yard so much :)

Jayne, what a wonderful view you have. Lovely shot!
With that humidity that's warm for sunrise.
It appears summer has returned here! For today anyway. It's sunny and warm! Probably be up to about 80 this afternoon.
Have a lovely day!

Gorgeous! Too bad it's likely uncomfortable to sit out and enjoy it. Here's hoping for a break and a breath of fresh air.

That's a million dollar view! I talked to my sister in Virginia yesterday, and she said when you go outside you can't breathe. Hope you all get some relief soon.

Lovely start to your day, Jayne. The same vantage but always different!

That's beautiful, Jayne. You are blessed to be able to witness such loveliness every day. I have never minded getting up at 4:40AM to fix Tom's lunch because I get to see the sun rise over the mountains every day. Well, I should say almost every day---lately the fog/haze have somewhat obscured it. But I can see the glow! :-)

I always think of the view you have when I think of places from which one can view a sunrise. Trees impede every conceivable view in my neighborhood. Glad I can live vicariously through you!
