Circling the premonition

Do you ever have a premonition?
Some might call it a feeling in your gut?
Something is wrong, and you just know it?
I hope and pray my gut feeling is wrong.
I don't want to think of the worst,
but my medical background leads
my brain to places of rationality,
and there are times, I wish I didn't
know so much as a nurse.

At times, being so clinical and rational
makes you face potential facts more quickly.
I won't expound, except to say my worry is not
for me or for my husband, but for my daddy.
Please pray that my premonition is wrong.

I, too, believe our mind picks up clues from very obsure things and sends us a message we call a premonition. I have found that I have mistaken my fears for premonitions - and my fears were wrong and thus the seeming premonition. But you are speaking here of health and you are a nurse, so your unconscious could pick up signals that others wouldn't. It is good to pay attention. It is hard for you - and your father is very lucky to have a daughter who care so much and is skilled in the area in which he may need help.

I send you and your father love and light.

The Lord created us, entirely. I believe that He also put that sense in us as well as smell and sight. I pray that you're off base on this one. In the event that you're not, we're here with you.

Oh I hope your premonition is wrong too. (My sissy is a nurse too and she's said the same thing about sometimes wishing she didn't know so much.)
