Tulips and paint

I went for my yearly GYN appointment yesterday (we won't discuss the fact that for some reason my uterus is enlarged and I now need an ultrasound), and was thrilled that my weight has not changed since my last visit. That's pretty cool considering it's the only time I get on a scale! And, I have not started shrinking, so that's good news too I suppose. Afterwards, I went grocery shopping and found these pretty pink tulips at my friendly neighborhood Food Lion. I popped on the macro and tried to play a bit.

After I got the groceries put away, I put on my favorite paint clothes, tuned in Flight 26 on the XM, and got to work. With the first roller application I just knew I was going to like this color so much more. I could just never fully feel more than ambivalent about the previous shade of green. This green is more mossy, is warmer overall, and compliments the rug in there now. All done... really... for good this time... but, seriously.

The room looks so good Jayne ~ for some reason at least fro now I can't see the tulips, but will return and see if they are going to show later :)
I refuse to stand on scales for anyone! - good on you, and hope the ultrasound is ok, hugs, Katie, x

Huh. Nice! Do you have a before picture to contrast with the after picture?

Your home must be lovely throughout, Jayne. I like the warm green and the tulips are so pretty! I hope your ultrasound goes well.

Ginger, here is a link to a site where all the walls were painted the wheat grass color that was on the walls before.

The ultrasound, along with my mammogram is scheduled for the 20th. I have had no history of fibroids at all, so I can't imagine what on earth it might be, but will just have to wait and see and hope it's nothing. Heck, even if it is, they can just yank that sucker out of there and it would be fine by me. :cP

Very nice room, Miz Jayne. I'm coveting your well-put-together room.

Love the tulips, too. You've got everything I need these days!

Great color!

(Praying for the medical tests to turn out well..)

I have never seen anyone paint and tidy room so quickly! If you ever need a career change, go for interior decorating!
